Wiltshire + Dimas is shaping the cultural landscape of Waterfront Brisbane, delivering a world-class public art program that seamlessly integrates art, architecture, and community engagement.
Public Art Leadership at Waterfront Brisbane – As the Public Art Consultant for Waterfront Brisbane, Wiltshire + Dimas is leading the curation, commissioning, and production of a dynamic public art program for this transformative riverfront precinct. Working closely with Dexus and key project partners—including FJC Studio, Lat Studios, John Holland, Brisbane City Council, and the project’s First Nations Cultural Advisor—we are ensuring that public art is deeply embedded within the site’s design and storytelling.
Our role encompasses assembling and coordinating the Project Art Committee, facilitating First Nations engagement and protocols, and curating a diverse mix of First Nations, local, and international artists. Over our three-year engagement, we are overseeing the full lifecycle of the public art program, from strategy development and artist procurement to fabrication and installation. Through this approach, Wiltshire + Dimas is delivering a public art experience that celebrates Brisbane’s cultural heritage, enhances its public spaces, and creates a legacy of artistic excellence for generations to come.
