Tidal

Project Info

Inspired by the beauty that is Burramattagal, this mural acknowledges country and speaks of relationships both old and new.

In late 2022, Wiltshire + Dimas curated and produced an incredible collaboration between First Nations artist Lucy Simpson and Sydney artist Meg Minkley for Scentre Group at the newly redeveloped Westfield Parramatta. ‘Tidal’ is located at the new Car Park rooftop entry into the new Entertainment & Lifestyle Precinct.

A story of convergence and duality and one that brings together opposites; of saltwater and fresh, land and sky, old and new. This mapped, drawn and hand painted work connects to movement migration motion and life.. traversing distance and recording memories of place.

Inspired by the beauty that is Burramattagal, this mural acknowledges country and speaks of relationships both old and new. A creative collaboration between Yuwaalaraay designer Lucy Simpson and mural artist Meg Minkley.
