OPEN UP is an expertly curated pop-up market place created specifically for the nurturing of local artists and designers with big ideas.

OPEN UP is located in Darling Quarter’s Civic Connector, which is also home to OPEN, a semi-permanent cultural and public art exhibition space that was developed and programmed by Wiltshire + Dimas.

Artists, independent galleries, and local objects, homewares and streetwear designers enliven Darling Quarter with their unique and covetable designs, and set the stage for an exciting season of creativity at the precinct. In keeping with both Wiltshire + Dimas and Darling Quarter’s unwavering commitment to the support and proliferation of the arts in Sydney, OPEN UP is free and open to the public.

To launch OPEN UP, twelve carefully selected kids’ design brands took residence in Darling Quarter over two weeks in November 2015. The designers showcased their singular perspectives in children’s apparel, accessories, homewares and art, just in time for Christmas and the summer holidays.

Wiltshire + Dimas developed the total solution from infrastructure design, manufacturing, business development and marketing and will produce the markets seasonally in 2016 and ongoing. Visit the website here for more details.
