Each month during 2017, The Wintergarden food court was enlivened with the colourful vision and energy of live art.

11 emerging and established contemporary Australian artists with diverse styles were supported to create new works at the same time as they displayed their painting skills to the people of Sydney during the Friday lunchtime sessions.

The impressive list of artists included Peter Fulker, Nanami Cowdroy, Noni Cragg, Mikaela Mitchell-Bishop, Kata Komlos, Elsa Isabella, Jessica Cochrane, Daniel French-Wollen, Dionysos Avramides, Jodee Knowles, and Tom Asartigas.

 

In July, the works from the previous financial year were auctioned live at the annual Wintergarden Charity Art Auction, held at Bowery Lane (in the lobby of 1 O’Connell Street),

The live art sessions were proudly curated and produced by aMBUSH Gallery and presented with The Wintergarden.
