Our placemaking journey with Scentre Group has taken us all over Australia, working with local creative industries, collectives and individuals, this time to Westfield Carousel in Perth.
Lighting installations, mural art and sculpture were just some of the artworks commissioned for the Westfield Carousel project.
The project was significant as it marked the integration of Scentre Group’s Reconciliation Action Plan into the art strategy, paving the way for the significant focus on local Indigenous artists in future projects. aMBUSH partnered with local Indigenous organisation, IES, to commission Whadjuk/Ballardong, Eastern Arrernte artist Jade Dolman to create a series of sculpture works that were installed throughout the ELP.
Featured artists include Georgia Hill, James Jirat, Hiroyasu Tsuri, Nanami Cowdroy and Jade Dolman.
